OFFICERS


Jeff Bargielski - President
Term: July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2022 (FY2029 - FY2022)
Francis Howell Middle School
Jeff Bargielski is the Library Media Specialist at Francis Howell Middle School, and also has experience as a Librarian at the University City Public Library. He earned a Master's degree in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Jeff has served on the Regional Library Network Council since 2016, and has held multiple roles in neighborhood organizations in the Tower Grove area.



Cindy Miller - Vice President
Term: July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023 (FY2021 - FY2023)
St. Charles City-County Library

Cindy Miller is currently the Branch Manager at the Deet Run Branch for St. Charles City-County Library. She has an MFA in Writing and an MA in Library and Information Science from University of Missouri. Cindy has been in libraries for nearly 20 years in a variety of positions including Library Assistant, Head of a Bookmobile, Computer Instructor and Manager. She has attended several conferences including ALA, PLA, and MLA. She really enjoys serving the community and working with her staff to learn new ways to create a welcoming and open environment. 



Erin Magner - Treasurer
Term: July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023 (FY2021 - FY2023)
Richmond Heights Public Library
Erin Magner is the Director of Richmond Heights Memorial Library, one of the nine libraries that compose the Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis. Prior to that, she worked for St. Louis County Library in a variety of roles. Erin graduated with a Master's in Library and Information Sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She has served on the St. Louis Regional Library Network Council since 2017. Erin believes in the library's power to transform communities. She is committed to enhancing her community by connecting patrons to the services and resources they need. 



Janice Hovis - Secretary
Term: July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2023 (FY2021 - FY2023)
St. Louis Community College
Janice Hovis is currently an Instruction Librarian at the Meramec and Wildwood campuses of St. Louis Community College, and previously worked at the Florissant Valley campus. She holds a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science from University of Missouri and a Master of the Arts in Teaching from Webster University. Janice is a longtime member of MLA (Missouri Library Association) and ACRL (Association of College and Research Libraries). 


REPRESENTATIVES


Pamela Withrow
Term: July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2022 (FY2019 - FY2021)
Jefferson County Public Library
Pamela Withrow is Assistant Director for Library Services at Jefferson County Library. She earned her Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. Her library experience spans three other states (Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan) and includes circulation, youth services, cataloging, reference, and directing a small library. Pamela is grateful for the adventures, but she is also glad to be back home in the St. Louis area where she can enjoy her family and friends, The Muny, Cardinals baseball, the Katy Trail, and the St. Louis Zoo. 



Nicole Walsh
Term: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024 (FY2022 - FY2024)
St. Louis County Library
Nicole Walsh is currently the Assistant Branch Manager of the Eureka Hills branch of the St. Louis County Library District. She graduated with her Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked as a practicum student at Webster University library. Nicole is a member of the Missouri Library Association (MLA) and served as the Chair of the MO INFO Subcommittee for MLA in 2021. She is also a member of ALA, PLA, and the Freedom to Read Foundation. Nicole is excited to be a SLRLN Council member to help share professional development ideas with other local librarians and library staff. 



Jennifer Moore
Term: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024 (FY2022 - FY2024)
Washington University
Jennifer Moore is the Head of Data Services at Washington University in St. Louis. She leads a team focused on data analysis, data curation, data literacy, data management, data visualization, and GIS. Moore is a partner and curator in the Data Curation Network, a co-PI on the IMLS Specialized Data Curation Workshop grant, and a co-PI on a National Science Foundation Grant (NSF) EAGER grant Completing the Lifecycle: Developing Evidence Based Models of Research Data Sharing. Additionally, she was a co-PI on the IMLS grant, Community Standards for 3D Data Preservation (CS3DP), co-editor of the subsequent (forthcoming) publication, and continues to work in that community. Moore has degrees in Anthropology and Fine Art, and she received her MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010. 



Caitlin Stamm
Term: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024 (FY2022 - FY2024)
Saint Louis University
Caitlin Stamm is the University Archivist at Saint Louis University. She earned her Master's in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She loves connecting students and researchers of the fascinating history of SLU, St. Louis, and Missouri. Caitlin is a member of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) and the Association of St. Louis Area Archivists (ASLAA). Caitlin enjoys baking, taking nature walks, and watching hockey with her calico cat, Tippi. 



Katy Smith
Term: July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2024 (FY2022 - FY2024)
Saint Louis University
Katy recently joined the Medical Center Library at SLU as a Health Sciences Librarian. She earned both a PhD and an MA in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri. Katy wanted to work in libraries since childhood, and, while in high school, was a page at her local library and volunteer at her school library. She has a wide-range of experiences in libraries and information services and has served in academic, public, school, and special library spheres. Katy loves to learn new things, play with her family and pets, and -of course - read! 



Paula Albers 
Term: July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2022 (FY2019 - FY2022)
Webster University 
Paula Albers is the Electronic Resources Librarian at Webster University and serves as the liaison to the English Department and Conservatory of Theatre Arts. Paula has a degree in Classics and an MILS from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her favorite parts of her job are helping user to access library resources, troubleshooting technical problems, and teaching instruction sessions. She is an animal lover with three dogs at home, enjoys playing video games, and has a wide range of crafting skills.

Mission Statement


The mission of the St. Louis Regional Library network is to provide opportunities and forums for libraries and librarians to share resources and to learn from each other. To fulfill its mission, the Network shall identify the needs and resources of the library community served by the Network, develop and offer cooperative programs deemed appropriate by member libraries and evaluate and assess those needs and programs.

The St. Louis Regional Library Network is governed by a set of Bylaws.
